The Mull of Galloway is the starting point
for this page of Scotland pictures and is Scotland's most southerly
point. Enjoy the pictures of the Mull and learn of of her myths
and legends. The Mull of Galloway is a forgotten area of Scotland
and yet its beauty is outstanding. Robert Louis Stevenson wrote
of its famous "Heather Ale" in his "Legend of Galloway".
I will add more photographs of the Mull of Galloway to the gallery
in the future. From the calmness of Galloway and her rolling hills
head north to Stirling and the Trossachs to visit Stirling Castle
and Castle Campbell or Castle Gloom as it is known which sits
in the Ochil Hills above the village of Dollar. Continue your
journey North to the Highlands of Scotland and see the springtime
gorse frame Stac Pollaidh in North West Sutherland.
Winter in Scotland brings its own delights, the snow covered Mountains
and the freezing lochs. The four winter scenes are of Schiehallion
and Loch Rannoch, the hills of the Black Mount on Rannoch Moor,
the back of the Buachaille from Glen Etive and Blair Castle at
Blair Atholl in Perthshire.
