If you intend taking pictures, lots of pictures when
you visit Scotland, then the Loch Lomond and Trossachs
National Park should be high on your list of places to
see. Loch Lomond is rightfully known worldwide, but the
rest of the Trossachs is every bit as beautiful The recently
created National Park has allways been a favourite of
the Scots. Take a sail on the Sir Walter Scott up Loch
Katrine which is surrounded by the hills which gave shelter
to Rob Roy, or walk the shores of the magically named
Loch Drunkie. Wherever you go in the Trossachs pictures
await.
This photograph of Achray Forest near Aberfoyle in the
Trossachs was taken within an hour of the previous shot
, demonstrating how the light can change so dramatically.
The Landscape photographer has to rise early to capture
his photograph and a knowledge of the weather and compass,
helps in the planning of the shoot. Planning is essential
in Scottish landscape photography as the light can pass
you by so quickly.
The lovely shades of Dawn cast their hues over the cloud
as the morning light breaks over Achray Forest in the
Trossachs. Loch Achray sits under the cloud at the bottom
of the Dukes Pass.
If you have not already visited the Trossachs around Aberfoyle
then hopefully the images you have seen will encourage
you to do so or entice you back.
I don't think I can say anymore about this area, if you
have followed the tour through the gallery you will know
it well by this time. But for more detailed information
