Paris, August 1744. A year later he made good his word
and landed at Loch Nan Uamh in Moidart on the west coast
of Scotland.At his side,not the footman,but the legendary
"Seven Men Of Moidart." Bonnie Prince Charlie
moved on to nearby Glenfinnan where on the 19th of August
1745 the royal standard was raised and so began the '45.

defeat.On the 19th September 1746 he fled the shores of
Scotland for France.
