Loch Earn Sunrise
Ref No: 132

Photographs of Scotland - It pays to be up in the morning as this lovely shot shows. This photograph is taken looking down Loch Earn, the photograph captures the pastel shades of dawn. Early morning is one of the best times to capture dramatic photographs of Scotland. The Loch lies in an area of spectacular beauty part of the famous Trossachs, in the Perthshire Highlands. At the western end sits the village of Lochearnhead whilst at the eastern end lies the village of St.Fillans. It is a wonderful holiday destination for all. The history of the area surrounds you, and a visit to lovely Balquidder where you will find the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor is only a ten minute drive, further up the glen past Loch Voil and Loch Doine, lies Inverlochlarig where he stayed and died. Close the eyes in this area and you can imagine Rob Roy beside you. Visit Scotland and experience it for yourself.

A thirty minute drive northwards from Lochearnhead through Glen Ogle will take you to Killin and Loch Tay where Ben Lawyers awaits the hill walker. There is plenty other activities in the area such as golf and water sports of all kinds.
